Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Caldog ("the Service," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. Caldog is operated by Donghun Choi, a sole proprietor based in Canada doing business as Sapsaldog.
1. Who We Are
Caldog is a scheduling tool that connects to your Google Calendar so others can propose meeting times and you can confirm one. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Google account information — your email address, name, and profile picture, obtained when you sign in with Google.
- Google Calendar data — events and busy/free information from the calendars you connect, used to determine your availability.
- OAuth tokens — access and refresh tokens issued by Google, stored in encrypted form so the Service can read your calendar on your behalf.
- Booking data — the name, email address, and notes that invitees submit when proposing or confirming a meeting.
- Usage data — basic analytics collected through cookies (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above solely to operate the Service: to authenticate you, to read your calendar availability, to create and manage bookings, to send meeting-related email, and to maintain and improve the Service.
4. Google User Data and Limited Use
Caldog's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We only access the Google Calendar data needed to provide scheduling features. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it to third parties except as required to provide the Service or as required by law. We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent for a specific purpose, it is necessary for security or legal reasons, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Caldog:
- Supabase — application database and authentication hosting.
- Email delivery provider — sending booking and confirmation emails.
- Google — calendar, sign-in, and Google Meet.
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. When you disconnect a Google account or delete your Caldog account, the associated OAuth tokens and calendar data are deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Cookies
Caldog uses cookies to keep you signed in and, through Google Tag Manager, to collect anonymized usage analytics.
8. Security
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for calendar access at any time by disconnecting your Google account. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
